A Thunderstorm's StoryBy Mike May

everything is silent before the storm
like a book of sorrow or storm
each one unique
but the same in it's own way

the wind begins to blow
as the story unfolds
the black lightning
strikes the paper

the clouds dark and filled with hate
but so light and calm

you hear the rhythm of the rain
beating like a drum at the dawn of war
you hear the crack of thunder

as the book closes and the story begins again
